Terms
Plain-language summary. Last updated September 2026.
By using Rivals you agree to these terms. We have kept them short and readable.
Your account
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password safe. Give accurate details when you sign up, and do not use someone else's account without their say-so. You must be old enough to hold an account under your local rules.
Your content
The matches, names, crests and results you enter are yours. You grant Rivals the permission needed to store and show them to your crew so the app works. You are responsible for having the right to share anything you upload, such as an avatar.
Fair use
Do not abuse the service: no attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer it, no uploading unlawful or harmful content, and no using Rivals to harass other players. Captains manage who is in a crew and who gets approved.
Free core and Crew Pro
Free gets you one crew of up to four players, and inside it nothing is metered: unlimited matches, live scoring, ratings, the board, belts, records and your year in review, kept for as long as you keep playing. No ads either.
Crew Pro is an optional subscription that lifts both caps — more players in a crew, more than one crew — and adds the deeper features. One payer covers the whole crew. It is billed through the App Store or Google Play, renews until you cancel, and is cancelled there rather than with us. Prices are shown before you buy. If your subscription lapses, your history stays; the paid features simply switch off.
The rating
Ratings and standings are computed from the results your crew logs. They are provided for fun and bragging rights — they are a model, not an official ranking, and we make no guarantee they are the last word on anyone's game.
Availability
We work to keep Rivals running but do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. Rivals is provided "as is", without warranties, to the extent the law allows.
Ending it
You can stop using Rivals and delete your account at any time — from the app (Settings → Account) or from the web at getrivals.app/delete-account. Deleting is permanent and takes your solely-owned crews with it; the page spells out exactly what goes. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
App Store
If you got Rivals from the Apple App Store, a few things are worth stating plainly:
- This agreement is between you and Must Have Apps SIA, not with Apple. We — not Apple — are responsible for Rivals and its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for Rivals. If something is wrong, write to us.
- Rivals comes with no warranty beyond what the law requires. If it ever fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may tell Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; beyond that refund, Apple has no warranty obligation whatsoever, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform are ours to answer for, not Apple's.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for handling any claim that Rivals or your use of it infringes someone's intellectual property, and for any product-liability claim, any claim that Rivals fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and any claim under consumer-protection or similar law.
- You confirm you are not in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and on your acceptance of them Apple has the right to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
Changes
We may update these terms; when we do, we will change the date above. Continuing to use Rivals means you accept the update.
